This insignia is the symbol of the ASP Training Program that has been completed.

The core of this training is the stability of the Pyramid. A wide, deep, low base with the head over the center is vital to maintenance of the officer's control and the most effective means of decentralizing the subject. The closed as well as open strikes with the ASP Baton come from three dimensions: Weapon Side, Reaction Side and Straight In.
