The UBS-12 Gen 3 (Under Barrel Shotgun 12 Gauge) is a door breaching shotgun system manufactured by Lockhart Tactical is our newest and lightest weight system.

Typically Soldiers or Law Enforcement officers are forced to carry a breaching shotgun in addition to their standard issue rifle during operations. Our mount removes this requirement. Using our system allows a standard remington 870 shotgun to be used in an underbarrel configuration much like the M203 grenade launcher.

Our shotgun cannot be operated independently due to not having a pistol grip behind the trigger. When firing the UBS, the magazine of the parent firearm must be used as a pistol grip.

What can the UBS-12 do for me?
Whether or not you're a Solider, LE Officer or Professional using this device for breaching, our UBS has a lot to offer. Civilian Hunters can benefit immensely by carrying our tiny UBS under their favorite bolt action hunting rifle. Nothing is better than peace of mind and security of having 12GA Slugs or Buckshot at your finger tips when it's needed most.

Apart for security reasons, Hunters could also quickly attach our UBS to help ensure they don't go home from a hunt empty handed. Maybe you won't see a deer cross your path, but if an unlucky flock of turkeys happens to surprise you... Seize the day!

Attachment Mechanism
The Lockhart Tactical UBS-12 features dual locking levers manufactured 100% in the USA by American Defense. These patended quick release, automatic locking levers are the best in the world. Rest assured, these won't ever be coming off unintentionally!

Mount Features:
Our mounts are machined entirely in from a billet of aluminum providing exceptional strength.
Your host firearm only requires 10 picatinny rail slots (4" / 10cm") to attach securely.
Our mount allows the attachment of our proprietary quick attach Buttstock and Pistol grip combiniation to convert your UBS to a shoulder fired Micro Shotgun.

The optional Quick Detach Optic mount easily locates its 0 position ontop of the UBS while in the shoulder fired configuration and holds zero on optics when detached and reattached.

Mount Instructions:
Your shotgun receiver may need to be drilled and tapped.
We will include 3x #6-48 socket cap screws to fit a Dominion Arms Grizzly Shotgun.
We recommend using an 8-32 socket cap screw on all installations that are not a Grizzly Shotgun.

Your factory bolt which secures the buttstock on the rear of the shotgun may work, or some modification may be needed depending on what you are attaching our mount to.

If you are drilling / tapping your own receiver, you may need to use your own hardware.

SAFETY NOTES
The UBS-12 should ONLY be mounted on Firearms which have strong ALUMINUM or STEEL picatinny rails embedded into them. Lockhart Tactical will not be responsbile for damage which may occur to firearms upon which the UBS-12 was improperly installed. Cheap plastic / polymer rails may break and cause damage to the firearms or user.
