Multitalented, hard-working and adventurous: just like you. The SNAP is a one stop tool for any of your lighting needs: headlamp, flashlight, bike light, safety flasher, lantern and magnetic area light. We’re proud to add award-winning to the list of adjectives describing the SNAP: GearJunkie’s Best in Show of Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2018 & Outside Magazine’s Staff Pick for Favorite Product at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2018.
The SNAP starts as a straightforward headlamp with additional focus on modular, adaptable design. SNAP’s head unit is removable from the headlamp bracket for handheld operation and use with the included accessories, snapping into place with a strong magnet.
The kit includes:
The SNAP is simple to use: a large, easy to find button on the head unit turns the versatile spot beam on, dims it and switches over to flash mode.
Whether you’re in the backcountry or your backyard, taking care of business in the shop or in the field, or maintaining tools or toys, the SNAP is ready to shine.
DIMMABLE LED
Dimmable LEDs provide the precise output needed for a given task, and help conserve battery power for maximum efficiency. Sometimes we use the word dimmability, which isn't exactly a word yet, but we're very fond of it and have faith it will become one.
FOCUSED WIDE BEAM
This beam pattern is an excellent choice for multipurpose activities. At close range, wide beams simulate normal daylight conditions and allow you to take advantage of your peripheral vision.
IPX4
These lights are designed for water resistance to splashing and quick dunkings. If a light with a IPX4 rating is accidentally submerged for a longer period of time, the batteries should be removed and the cabinets should be carefully inspected for signs of battery leakage. If water has entered the housing, the light should be dried and batteries replaced.
MAXBRIGHT LED
The highest quality LED available. Princeton Tec’s Maxbright LED is extremely bright and efficient. This single LED emits a smooth, powerful, white light useful for a wide range of tasks. Princeton Tec uses collimators or reflectors with the Maxbright LED depending upon the application. Must yell "MAXBRIGHT" when saying term out loud.
MULTIPLE BEAM
This beam pattern combines focused narrow and wide beams to allow for the most versatility. At close range, the wide beams simulate normal daylight conditions so you can take advantage of your peripheral vision, while focused narrow beams provide distance illumination.
MULTIPLE MODE
Multiple settings on many of our products give you the flexibility to adjust your light’s brightness to illuminate greater distances or to conserve battery power, depending on your needs.
BACKPACKING/HIKING
Planning to cover some ground and travel light? Maybe it’s the destination – or maybe it’s all the steps between. Either way, lights in this category will help you find your way (or enjoy right where you are) when the sun goes down. (Especially if something goes bump in the night.)
CAMPING
Sleeping under the stars and getting away from it all. Whether you need some light to bustle around the RV after lights out, set up your nomadic home for the night among the pines, or enjoy some campfire time with friends, family (or yourself), these products will serve you well. (Maybe even in a van down by the river, we don't judge.)
CYCLING
Spending time on two wheels? Asphalt, gravel, dirt, snow, rocks – whatever path you’re headed down, products in this category can help you see and be seen on your bike.
HUNT/FISH
Tree stands, duck blinds, jon boats, bass boats, streamside, dockside, backcountry camps – examples of places that have a tendency to be most productive around dawn or dusk. Check out these products to help you make the most of those hours. Also, if this icon is to scale, that is one big bass.
PREPAREDNESS
Light is an integral part of survival – whether you’re headed off the grid or experience a loss of power – having your own source of light at hand helps to keep you safe.
RUNNING
Maybe you’re pounding pavement. Maybe it’s dirt, or pine needles – gravel or sand. Sometimes to reach your goals you need to start earlier or stay out there later. Lights in this category will help you keep pushing your limits on the road, trail – or anywhere in between.
SAFETY/INDUSTRIAL
Does your job require work in less than ideal environments? Sometimes you need a little extra light, sometimes you need a primary light – and sometimes, that light needs to not only be bright, but be rated to work safely in hazardous conditions.
TRAVEL/EDC
Whether expected (a trip!) or unexpected (an unplanned turn of events), having an easy to access, dependable light on you could make all the difference, where ever you end up.
